Protect the finish while cleaning the floor
The aim is not simply to make a wooden floor wet and scrub it. The surface coating, joints, wear and previous maintenance all matter, which is why the floor should be assessed before a process is chosen.
Part of our wider hard-floor service
Wood floor cleaning sits alongside concrete and other suitable hard-floor cleaning, making it possible to quote mixed-floor premises through one enquiry.
Cleaning is different from sanding or refinishing
Professional wood-floor cleaning is intended to remove suitable surface soil and residues while respecting the existing finish. It is not the same as sanding damaged boards or applying a new finish, and cleaning cannot reverse every scratch, worn coating or colour change. Identifying those limitations before work starts helps separate what cleaning can improve from restoration work that may require another specialist process.
Moisture, finish and construction all matter
Wood is sensitive to the way moisture and cleaning products are used. Sealed boards, engineered flooring and other timber surfaces can have different tolerances, so the process should be based on inspection rather than a generic hard-floor routine. If the floor forms part of a mixed commercial premises, include the surrounding carpet or concrete areas in the same enquiry so the overall job can be planned together.
